She of employment....
Nov. 22nd, 2007 11:32 amWell with the general enjoyable stress that was Serenity, and various things that have stemmed from it, my head's been all over the place this week. Apologies to anyone I have or am going to whinge at, bore or wax lyrical near. I find myself in a place of deep contemplation that I never thought I would be revisiting.
So now I've freaked you all out by straying from my usual bouncyness, in other news I am employed!! Despite the above causing virtually no interview preparation, I now have a job at MBNA. Temporary until the end of the tax year, with various opportunities for a permanent position after that depending on how I get on.
To be perfectly honest I'm shell shocked. The interview was amazingly informal and friendly, and I seemed to impress. Decent starting money (£12 per hour) and start date TBA, but most likely the week after next.
So all in all a hell of a week. Hugs and general life encouragement would be most appreciated.
P.S. I would like to declare at this point that I love
