More dubious poetry...

Hmm, well bored at work and decided to have another bash. Don't even know whether this actually qualifies as poetry since I am totally dense in that department, but again opinions welcome.



Ode to a Di Canto

A Delicate beauty
With passionate eyes
A heart so fragile
Yet strong, in its own way
A vision clear
Of things others cannot conceive
A voice from the soul
Rings out like a bell
A hand, a pen on paper
Words of beauty, images of grace
A spring flower
In a soft, pale hand
A gentle touch
On the cheek of a child
A longing so deep
To love and to be loved in return
A thread of life
Shining bright as a star


And yeay I so get the non-emo badge, that's the second cheery one I've come up with now!! That will teach you to call me an angst-pimp!!

Plus, since I am the queen of non-emo I will be coming up with more happy songs for next event - and I will be expecting distinctly more than a gold leaf from the person in question LOL!!
