Interview with Finance Director went really well. He seems like a great guy, and although they have to see one more person tomorrow and couldn't promise anything, he said he thought I had "Every quality he was looking for".

Hopefully will hear tomorrow after they've seen the other person, failing that should know by Thursday. Now have to try and stop twitching.

Good luck

One way to ensure a successful job applicaiton is to book a holiday or plan a LRP event sometime near the time you are expected to start this new job, were you successful. It has happened several times to me so far, including my latest job and the last event I ran (hence me turning up late by train still wearing a shirt, tie and ID badge...)

Another way (as confirmed by Sarah) is to go out on a heavy drinking session the night before and do the interview completely hungover. She got her latest job this way.
